Happy Easter to everyone and I hope you enjoy the weekend.

Happy belated birthday wishes to Elgin Martin who celebrated his 97th in Mindemoya Hospital last weekend. We hope he is feeling better.

Around 40 people attended the Twilight Club’s noon meal and meeting last Monday in Providence Bay.

Here are the results from the men’s world curling. We didn’t see as many games on account of the difference in the time. Norway won Gold and Sweden won the Silver. The Bronze was won by Switzerland against Canada.

Belated birthday wishes to Paul Springer who celebrated his 95th on March 5 with a party. The Springers lived for a number of years here in Providence Bay.

Reverend Bain and Linda Peever hosted a birthday dinner recently for Mageon Madore. Those who attended were Keith Finnila, Nola Haner, Kari and Brenda Kankaantha. They served birthday cake with all the trimmings. Belated birthday wishes to her.

Reverend Bain and Linda Peever returned home after several weeks holidaying.

Sympathy to Eldrige McCulligh on the passing of Sadie Debassige, and to her daughter and grandchildren. My deepest sympathy. We will all miss her.

The Bradley McAllister hockey tournament was held last weekend in Mindemoya. Tammey and the children spent the weekend with her mother here in Spring Bay. Brent was involved with the hockey tournament.

Last Monday when I came home from our Twilight Club meeting there were four robins outside at my place.
