Spring Bay Rural Route

July 14—The weather has been a bit cooler this week.

We send sympathy to Amanda and boys, and to all relatives, in the passing of Shawn Gibbons. Such a young life to be taken. He will be sadly missed.

Happy belated birthday wishes to Theresa Webb. They had some friends in for a barbecue and cake.

Peggy Gray visited me on Thursday afternoon. They are holidaying at the Noble cottage in Providence Bay.

Ken and Sheila Maeck had several of their family members home for the weekend.

Pastor Dan and Terry Thompson and Irwin and Irene MacIntyre had dinner with Royce and Margaret Young on Tuesday.

Euchre parties will continue all summer at the Spring Bay Community Centre at 8 pm.

We extend sympathy to Marlaine Ste. Croix and to all relatives in the passing of her husband J.C. His funeral was Monday, July 14 at the Pentecostal Church in Spring Bay. Also to the Sloss families in the passing of Ronnie in Sudbury. They will all be missed.

Last Saturday afternoon at the Spring Bay Community Centre there was an Appreciation Day and Barbecue sponsored by the Spring Bay Pentecostal Church. It was well attended. The weather was a bit cool with a few sprinkles of rain. It was enjoyed. Many thanks!
