Just imagine…it’s the end of November 2015. How time flies! The children are now anxiously looking forward to Christmas.

Betty Greenman visited Laura Scott and Pat Norton recently.

Remember Spring Bay euchre on Friday nights at 7:30 pm. All skill levels welcome. We will be playing December 4 and 11 and then close for the holiday season until Friday, January 8 at 7:30 pm.

On Friday, November 27 school bus service was suspended due to freezing rain and icy road conditions.

Campbell Horticultural Society Christmas meeting is on Tuesday, December 8 at Spring Bay Pentecostal Church at 11:30 am. Bring your own dishes and cutlery for the potluck lunch. Food Bank items and/or mitts are requested for baskets for those in need.

While driving in Pennsylvania, a family, in their car, caught up with an Amish family in their carriage. The Amish owner obviously had a sense of humour because attached to the back of the carriage was a hand-printed sign…”Energy efficient vehicle…runs on oats and grass. Caution: Do not step in exhaust.”

The deer that had been staying on our property must have been scared away during hunting season. We haven’t seen them since.
