SHAWN GIBBONS

Suddenly on July 10, 2014 at the age of 34, Shawn Gibbons passed away. Born on February 1, 1980 to his loving parents Michael “Mike” and Brenda Gibbons of Manitowaning. Loving husband of Amanda. Devoted father of Michael and Zachary. He is the beloved brother to Patreck (Sherri) of Sudbury, and Janet (Bill) of Manitowaning, and cherished son-in-law to Bill and Jennifer Orford, and dear brother-in-law to Angie and James Moggy. A wonderful uncle to David, William, Joshua, Corey and Cassie. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Shawn loved spending time with his wife and two boys. He enjoyed playing hockey, video games and watching movies. Shawn also revelled in going hunting with his friends and family. He wouldn’t miss going and spending time at the farm helping his uncle. Visitation for Shawn was held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Island Funeral Home in Little Current. His funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11am, also held at Island Funeral Home with Evangelist Bill Reid officiating. If so desired, donations are welcomed for a trust fund for Shawn’s boys. It is being held at the Bank of Montreal, the account number is 2373-8987-026. Much thanks to all for your love and support.
