M’CHIGEENG–UCCM Anishnaabe Police are investigating an incident of a sexual assault that was reported on June 30. The incident is reported to have occurred on June 15.
Police are seeking information from witnesses that may have noticed any suspicious activity or suspicious persons in the area of the Catholic church on the M’Chigeeng First Nation during the late afternoon or early evening of Monday, June 15.
UCCM Anishnaabe Police are also advising community members to let someone know where you are going, be aware of your surroundings, don’t walk alone and be alert.
