SADIE EDNA JEWELL “Marguerite” July 5, 1938 – July 13, 2023 In loving memory of Sadie Edna “Marguerite” Jewell. Marguerite, a resident of Burlington, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 13, 2023. Born to the late Harry and Grace (nee Chatwell) Jewell of Manitowaning. Beloved sister of George Jewell (predeceased), Maisie (Ken) McMullen, Gail (Weston) Leeson, Isobel (Walter) Trachsel and Bruce (predeceased) (Dianne) Jewell. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home for visitation on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral Service followed at 1 pm. Burial took place in Hilly Grove Cemetery. Donations in memory of Marguerite may be made to the Manitoulin Health Centre or Sick Kids Hospital.
