Ruby Quackenbush died peacefully at Finlandia, Sudbury on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the age of 94. Born to Christina (nee Dunlop) and Stewart McGillis, in Bidwell Twp., Manitoulin on August 22, 1921. Survived by daughter Helen May of Toronto. Predeceased by husband William Eric Quackenbush (May 1982) and son Joseph (April 2013). Sister of Helen Byrne and Alex McGillis. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home Monday, October 5, 2015. Visitation was from 10 am until Funeral Service at 11 am. Burial at Hilly Grove Cemetery.
