Ronald Edward Addison, a resident of Silver Water, passed away May 19, 2017 at the Mindemoya Hospital, with his family by his side. Loving husband of the late Betty (Brown) Addison. Beloved son of the late Dorothy (Hopkins) and the late Jack Addison. Ron always had a story or joke to tell. He loved the outdoors and particularly, the sunsets on Silver Lake. Ron’s ingenuity, smile and gentle nature will forever be remembered and dearly missed. Loved and loving father of Michael (Laurie) Addison of Gore Bay and Sharon (John Lloyd) of Toronto. Treasured grandpa of Curtis, Janelle, Heather and Carolyn. Ron will be sadly missed by his siblings Jack (Alice) Addison, Lorna (Tom Caley) and Lyle (Ann) Addison. Dear brother-in-law of Bill (Marilyn) Brown, Marie (Don Allen, predeceased) and Murray (Susan) Brown. Ron will be fondly remembered by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and his friends, especially in the community of Silver Water. Family and friends may call at the Simpson Funeral Home in Gore Bay on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 7 pm to 9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church in Silver Water on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11 am with Rev. Janice Frame officiating.
