Robert William Chatwell, a resident of Manitowaning, died peacefully on Sunday morning, March 2, 2014 at the Mindemoya Hospital at the age of 90. Born to Jenny May (nee Jewell) and William Chatwell in Bidwell on January 11, 1924. Survived by loving wife Lyla (nee Kerr). Devoted father to Beverly Ann Hughson (predeceased) (husband Clive) and Judy Wright (husband Renny). Proud grandfather to Scot Hughson (wife Marcie), Tom Hughson (wife Vera), Darin Wright (wife Abbie), Darrell Wright, and Trevor Wright (wife Beverly). Great-grandfather to Isabella, Kayla and Curtis Hughson, Christie, Haley and Breanna, Jackson, Gabriel and Alexandria Wright. Robbie will be forever remembered and loved. Family and friends gathered at Knox United Church, Manitowaning on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be at Knox United Church, Manitowaning on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 11 am with Rev. Martin Garniss officiating. Burial will be at Hilly Grove Cemetery in the spring.
