ROBERT LINEGAR

Robert Linegar, of Minnetonka, MN, passed away on January 4, 2016 at the age of 90. Born on a farm in southern Indiana, Bob attended Purdue University and graduated from Tri-State University in Civil Engineering after serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He had a distinguished career in the concrete industry in central Indiana as owner of ERMCO Ready Mixed Concrete with plants in Elwood, Tipton, and Alexandria. After selling the business in 1979, Bob retired spending much of each year on Manitoulin Island in Ontario, Canada. Survived by his beloved wife Mary, daughter Diane Jack (David), son Steve Linegar, daughter Anita Barnett (Larry), four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Other close family include his brothers J.C. Linegar (Nancy), Dan Linegar (Linda), and his sister Margaret Hinesley (Phil). His passions in life included his love of his wife, family, friends, flying his plane, time on Manitoulin Island in Ontario, Canada and Indianapolis Colts football. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10 am at Presbyterian Homes Beacon Hill, Terrace Building located at 5330 Beacon Hill Road in Minnetonka, MN. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church in Minnetonka.
