ROBERT GEORGE DOMUS

ROBERT GEORGE DOMUS
November 28, 1949 – August 19, 2020
In loving memory of Robert George Domus who passed away August 19, 2020. Wife of Nancy Bryce of Little Current, son of Jean and Francois Domus formerly of Copper Cliff, brother to Francine Domus Oldenburg of Gore Bay. It is with a broken heart that I share that Robert died on August 19 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. It was a very quick illness that he just couldn’t fight. Robert was a wonderful husband to me and a supportive and dedicated father to Kyla and Matthew. As well, he adored his granddaughter, Haileigh. He loved his nieces and nephews and had a lot of fun partying with them and their friends! He had great respect and love for his ‘two favorite brothers-in-law’. Those of you reading this who knew him will know how much he loved anything with a motor. The louder and faster the better! He was an old town of Copper Cliff boy and some of his best memories came from growing up there. He was a motorcycle mechanic, doing most of his apprenticeship at Rocky’s in London. Later he became an elevator mechanic and was a proud member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors. He respected and enjoyed the many members he worked with. Rob loved people, he has many friends who meant the world to him. He made his friends his family and his family his friends. Going to really miss this guy!
