Robert Earl Pelletier bravely served in the Canadian Army as a Paratrooper from July 1944 to May 1946. Robert also proudly served in the Korean War from August 1950 to August 1952 with USA. He served again for his third call of duty from August 1953 to October 1956. Robert was a soldier to the very end. A resident of Wikemikong Unceded Territory, who passed into the Spirit World on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Robert is survived by his loving children Stephen, Adrienne, Earl and Adolphus Pitawanakwat, brother Eugene Pelletier (Honorine), his former awesome wife Josephine Pelletier, and by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Will be missed by his fellow veterans and nursing home staff. Predeceased by son Robbie and daughter Denise, parents Anastasia (nee Shawanda) and Thomas Peltier, wife Norma Wagosh-Fox, and by siblings Rosemary, Yvonne, Wilfred and Tommy. Family and friends gathered from 7 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Holy Cross Mission. Funeral Services were held at 10 am on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Holy Cross Mission.
