In Loving Memory of Rayner, Robert”Blair” 80 years.

It is with great sorrow

that we sa y goodbye to a great

gentle soul. Blair passed peacefully on

Februa ry 24, 2019. Beloved husband

of Annette Bolduc. Son of Roy Rayner

and Nora Rayner (nee Bailey) (predece

ased). Born and r aised on Manitoulin

Isla nd. Blair spent m uch of his working l ife in

Sudbury before moving to Elliot Lake where he eventually

retired. Blair was kind, generous, and a good friend to many.

Brother of Jim (pre-deceased) (wife Leah), Noreen (husband

Doug Croft (pre-deceased). Loving father of daughters

Marilyn Rayner (Wally Stukaylo), Sharon Gilchrist (Bob),

Brenda Leet (John) Patricia Holmes (Wally), Jody Maechtel

(Andrew), and his step-children, Mike Bolduc (Francine),

Sue Bolduc, Guy Bolduc (Jennifer), Denis Bolduc, Andre

Bolduc (Mary). Blair leaves behind his sister, sister-in-law

, many g randchildren an d great-g randchildren, as well as

many beloved life friends that knew and loved him to cherish

his memory. Blair enjoyed having fun, making someone

smile came easy for him. H e loved the outdoors, fishi ng,

hunting and working around his home in Elliot Lake during

his retirement. A special recognition for the service and care

given by the staff at the Saint Joseph’s Hospital the doctors

and medical personnel who worked timelessly with Blair in

the last fe w years. To these peop le and the s taff at The

Manor…A Big Thank You! At Blair’s request there will be

no visitation or service. Cremation and arrangements entrusted

to Alternative Funeral Services in Elliot Lake, followed

by a private Celebration of Life in the future to be

held by the family. He will be missed but never forgotten.
