In loving memory of Robert (Bob) Greenman, a resident of Barrie Island, who died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the age of 77 years. He was born in Gore Bay, son of the late Thomas Greenman and Ruby (Strain) Greenman. Bob lived for a brief time in Southern Ontario, however most of his life was lived on Barrie Island. Bob was a farmer and sawmill operator for all of his life on Barrie Island where he enjoyed deer hunting. He will be sadly missed by his family and many fond memories will be cherished by them. Bob is predeceased by his wife Jean (Galbraith). Beloved father of Julie Greenman Lane of Whitefish, John (Sharon) Baker of Exeter, Janis Baker of Whitby, Joe Ann (John) Lewis of Spring Bay and Jeanna (Rick) Leies of Arthur. Loving grandfather of Joe, Angela, Ben, Michelle, Cameron, Crystal, Amanda, Megan, Joe, Doug, Stephanie, Melody, Marie Jamie and 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by brothers Doug and Rod Greenman of Barrie Island. Predeceased by brother Ernie. Friends called at the Barrie Island Community Centre on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 1 pm to 3 pm. The funeral service was held in the Barrie Island Community Centre at 3 pm with Reverend Janice Frame officiating. Burial in Gordon Cemetery.
