In loving memory of Rita Pierce, a resident of Kagawong, who died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the age of 80 years. She was born in North Bay, Ontario, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Bourque. Rita was a housewife and a member of the United Church. Dearly loved wife of Calvin William Pierce. Loving and loved mother of Darlene Shannahan (Edward) of Espanola, Dwight (Carol) of Lively, Kevin (Linda) of Kagawong and Darren (Gaetan Beaulieu) of Milton. Predeceased by daughter Beverly Rochon. Proud grandmother of Ann-Marie, Trevor, Deanna, Becky, Adam, Christopher, Spencer, Kevin Jr., Brendon, Jessica,and four great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Eddie Bourque of Ottawa, Geraldine Bourque of Sudbury, Eileen Levert of Espanola and Brenda Aubin of Sudbury. Predeceased by brother Joe and sisters Christina and Ida Woods. Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm as well as on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 11 am until 1 pm. The funeral service was conducted in the W.G. Turner chapel on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 1 pm with Rev. Mary Jo Eckert Tracy officiating.
