The last of the summer music series with be held this Thursday, August 31 at the Huron Island Time ice cream shop.  This week’s artist is Angela Schleihauf. Angela is the kind of musician who feels little the need to be bound by genre. In her live performances, she hops nimbly from topical folk songs, to unique covers of popular songs, before surprising her audiences with the occasional classical oboe piece. As member of the folk band Three Little Birds, Angela’s music has been nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award, and named in the Top 10 Songs of the Year by Ottawa Citizen.

The last open mic will also be held on Saturday, September 2. So bring/try out your musician skills come on down to the Huron Island Time and have some fun.
