Providence Bay News and Notes

Join us for a new hymnbook dedication service. New hymns, old favourites and Christmas carols Sunday, December l at 2 pm at the Community of Christ Church in Providence Bay. Christmas sweets, tea and coffee to follow.

A big thank you goes out to Crystal Lentir for all the work she did. We also thank everyone else who helped in any way with the fowl supper.

The Bluebird Bed and Breakfast is open all year around. They have a fantastic breakfast, give them a call for more information at 705-377-6644.

On Saturday, December l4 there will be a Christmas concert at the Providence Bay Hall from 7-8 pm. Anyone that would like to put an act is asked to come for 6:30 pm on Wednesday at the at the Community of Christ Church for rehearsal.

The Lions Club is having their annual bake sale as well at this time.

The Providence Bay Curling Club is having an adult “Learn to Curl Night” on Friday, November 29 at 7:30. Everyone is welcome.

The Pancake Breakfast at the Providence Curling Club on December 5. It is an excellent breakfast. Serving times are 7:30-9:30 am.
