Just a reminder that the Community of Christ in Providence Bay is hosting a pot luck, barbecue and scavenger hunt on Friday night at 5:30 pm. All are welcome.

Blair Sullivan came to see if Sandy needed anything. He is going for eye surgery on Tuesday at 7:30 am.

We are all thinking of Hazen White and his wife Wilda at this time. Hazen is not well.

Bluegrass in The Country was a huge success. ‘Rescue Junction’ from Millbank, the music was by Kyle Gerber, Kaitlyn Gerber, Roger Martin and Dallas Roth. The music was great. They played several instruments. Lyle Dewar won a guitar in the draw. Congratulations to Lyle.

Please visit Wool ‘n’ Things Quilt Store at Sandfield. The Watson’s are retiring after 35 years in the business on Manitoulin. The store hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 am until 5 pm. Other times may be arranged by calling 705-859-3375 or by email at sharonwatson@xplornet.com. There are lots of interesting items. It is worth it to come and see.

Remember our seniors and veterans and let them know you care. Have them over for a cup of tea or coffee.

Pauline Woodford arrived at the Providence Bay Park. She is a good friend of mine.
