We hope everyone enjoyed the Family Day long weekend. It’s so nice to have a long weekend in the middle of February to enjoy time with our family and friends or to just kick back and have a relaxing day.
Belated Birthday wishes go out to Charlene Sullivan who celebrated on Valentine’s Day, also to Mike Neill and Tabby Lay who both celebrated on February 18th and Moe Pearce who celebrated on Friday February 15th.
Upcoming birthday greetings to Mike McKechnie who celebrates on February 23. If you see him out and about, be sure to wish him a Happy Birthday.
The monthly euchre tournament will be held this coming Tuesday, February 26 beginning at 8 pm at the Twilight Seniors Club. Come on out for an evening of cards.
Providence Bay Fair member Autumn Davy has represented us amazingly at the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies Convention in Richmond Hill. Autumn took 3rd place for her chocolate chip cookies and 1st place for her intermediate level poster representing our fair! Congratulations, Autumn.
Record snowfalls this year are the topic of many conversations lately and the number one complaint these days. It’s sometimes hard seeing an end in sight but we’ve looked ahead and there are 28 days until March 20, the official first day of spring. We’re almost there, folks, so hang in there. And do something nice for yourself to chase away those winter blahs.
