The North Shore Secondary School Athletics curling championships are being held in Central Manitoulin on February 18 and 19. The top team in each division will continue on to the Northern Ontario Secondary School Athletics.

Valentine’s Day is falling on the Family Day long weekend. This is a province wide opportunity for families to fish together. People are able to fish with the otherwise mandatory fishing licence. Participants are required to fish under conservation fishing limits as set out in the Ontario Recreational Fishing Regulations Summary. It’s a fantastic time to introduce a friend to fishing. As anglers, we shape the future of fishing in Ontario! Remember to always fish with care and concern to preserve our precious natural resources.
