Providence Bay News and Notes

Becky’s Biker Breakfast in Providence Bay Hall was well attended.

Jase Tringham went to visit Ken at the dock at Providence Bay. Ken asked him if he wanted to see how he cleaned a fish. Jace wanted to know where the heart and liver and spine were in the fish.  Ken showed him and he was amazed at the questions he asked because he is just five-years-old.

Pauline Woodford Darleen Bovin and myself went to the Art Tour and saw the artwork, carvings and jewellery and many other crafts to mention. Everyone would explain the different crafts that they were doing.

We went to the Harbour Centre and the gentlemen there showed us pictures and told us the history about the ships and the families that were involved. We really enjoyed it.

We had been on a couple of the boats that made the runs from Tobermory to South Baymouth.

The fishing at Providence Bay is getting much better now.

We would like to welcome all the people who are visiting our beautiful Island. We hope you enjoy your visit with us.

Please remember our seniors and our veterans at this time. Invite them to a cup of tea or coffee and let them know you care.

Have a great week and smile when you meet someone. A smile goes a long way.

If you have any news call me at 705-377-4449.

God bless.
