Providence Bay News and Notes

There will be a graveside service at 11 am on July 12 at the Providence Bay Cemetery for Marjorie and Bev McFarlane who passed away recently. Lunch will follow at the Community Of Christ in Providence Bay. All are welcome.

Loyal McFarlane, Bev McFarlane and Percy Kay belonged to the Orange Lodge and on July l2 were in the parade 12 years ago.

Ann Sullivan is visiting from North Bay and we welcome her back.

The Coffee Shop in Providence Bay is open from 7:30 to 9:30 am Monday to Friday—all are welcome. Come on down, visitors are welcome.

On July 19 There will be a ‘bikers special’ breakfast from 7 to ll:30 am at the Providence Bay Coffee Shop. It is a complete breakfast which includes eggs, French toast, fries, sausages and coffee. Get a party together and come and greet these bikers that come from all over. Everyone is welcome.

We have a great playground at the beach with swings, slides etc, and there are also exercise swings for seniors here in Providence Bay.

Remember our seniors and veterans—keep in touch with them and maybe invite them over for a cold drink.
