Proceeds from ticket sales on quilt draw benefit Angel Bus

KAGAWONG – A Kagawong couple has won a beautiful quilt donated by a local quilter as a fundraiser for the Angel Bus.

Pat Best had donated a beautiful quilt she had made to the Angel Bus fundraising committee to sell tickets for the prize of the quilt.

“A big thank you to Pat Best for donating the quilt and to all those who sold and bought tickets in support of the Angel Bus,” said Ted Kilpatrick, a member of the Angel Bus fundraising committee. “And congratulations to Heather and Chris Theijsmeijer, winners of the quilt.” He added that the proceeds from the sale of tickets on the quilt draw totaled $3,163.75.

The draw was held at the Gordon/Barrie Island Advent Christmas Market.
