MANITOWANING—Members of the Knox United Church Charity Golf Tournament have started working on their 2nd annual tournament to take place on Tuesday, July 5 at Rainbow Ridge golf course with an 11:30 check in.

The number of players is limited to 88, so get your ticket before June 1 and receive a $10 discount off the $100 price, which includes your green fees, shared cart, light lunch and a delicious chicken and rib dinner. In addition to prizes, there will be a silent auction and more! The tournament is a scramble format.

Supporting the Knox Building Fund and many of the local charitable organizations in the Manitoulin community, the over $9,000 raised last year was shared with these organizations. The same 50/50 split will be done this year.

Larry Karn and Tom Carrick from the Manitowaning Mill Home Building Centre have stepped up to the plate as the Title Sponsors again for this significant community fund raising event.

For further information, contact Al Mattison, coordinator of the golf committee (705-859-3132), or Reverend Martin Garniss (705-377-4527) or any committee member.
