Fertilizers and spraying to maintain pristine landscape will bring impact
To the Expositor:
Regarding the article in the December 11 issue of your paper (‘Manitoulin Planning Board approves granting draft approval for Central 39-lot subdivision’), there is nothing addressing the pollution coming from the yards of the 39 homes of the proposed subdivision on the shore of Lake Mindemoya. I suspect the owners of these properties will be fertilizing and spraying their lawns to maintain their pristine landscape regardless of any conditions controlling this pollution. Surely this will impact all of the creatures living in and around the lake.
Sincerely,
Jane Austin and Norman Barney
