GORE BAY—During the overnight hours between March 16 and March 17 a number of vehicles in the town of Gore Bay were entered, reports the Manitoulin detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
All vehicles were left unlocked and two of the vehicles had the keys left within by the owner.
The Manitoulin Detachment of the OPP wishes to remind people to remove their keys, and lock their vehicles to help prevent these crimes of opportunity.
Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for these mischief’s should immediately contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
