NORTHEAST TOWN—On Sunday, May 27, over 5,000 customers on Manitoulin Island will be without power.
A notice from Hydro One states that the planned power outage will begin at 9 am on May 27 and end at 3 pm while hydro poles are replaced and station equipment is repaired.
The following communities are affected by the outage: Little Current, Howland, Aundeck Omni Kaning, Robinson, M’Chigeeng, Allan West, Gordon, Burpee and Mills, Central Manitoulin, Carnarvon, Billings, Barrie Island, Gore Bay, Howland, Sandfield, Dawson, Allan East, Bidwell North, Sheshegwaning, Zhiibaahaasing, South Bidwell and Cockburn Island.
