SUDBURY– MPP candidate Paula Peroni spent time volunteering at the Sudbury Kids And Pet Expo at the Garson Arena this past Sunday in support of a cause that she holds close to her heart—the health and wellbeing of animals. While at the Expo she also introduced a new addition to her campaign platform.
“Throughout the day I have been raising awareness of a new addition to my platform, a personal priority of mine that I will be bringing to Queen’s Park once elected,” Paula said. “I intend to call on the government to enforce harsher penalties on animal abusers.”

Paula distributed a petition at the Expo to gauge the public’s support of the new addition to her campaign platform, which she intends to present to the legislative assembly of Ontario. The petition generated over 300 signatures.
Paula left the Expo with the overwhelming feeling that Greater Sudbury is a community of caring and responsible animal owners who abhor instances of animal abuse and neglect.
