PATRICK RAPHAEL SHAWANA (PACO)

Patrick Raphael Shawana (PACO) passed peacefully at home in South Bay, Wikwemikong on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the age of 37. He will be missed by his two children Patrick Jr. and Julie and their mother Gina. Grandson of Celina and James Pheasant and Mary Jane Shawana (all predeceased). Beloved son to Patrick Rainy and Arlene (predeceased) Pheasant. Very dear brother to Jason (wife Desiree), Curtis (predeceased) and Cheryl. Proud uncle of Raymond, River, Ryder, Royce, Alexis, Jonah, Paradise and Blair. Will be remembered by many aunties, uncles, cousins, and many friends and his dog Sonny. Paco’s pride and joy were his horses, he was always seen horseback riding his horse up and down the street of Wikwemikong Way. He participated in the Fall Fair parades with his horse and loved taking kids for horseback rides. Paco also loved his outdoor life, fishing and hunting and he loved to chat. If it’s not his horse, he was seen walking his dog “Sonny”. They will indeed miss their master. Family and friends gathered at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah from 3 pm, Tuesday, November 24, 2015. Funeral Mass was held at Holy Cross Church on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at 11 am. Burial at Wikwemikong Upper Cemetery. Arrangements by Island Funeral Home.
