PARRY SOUND – On Tuesday April 1, 2014 the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) regarding a male travelling on a train from British Colombia to Parry Sound with a large quantity of Marijuana.
When the train arrived in the town of Parry Sound, police located a male that matched the description provided. With the assistance of the West Parry Sound OPP Crime Unit and OPP Canine Unit, the male was arrested. As a result of the investigation, police seized 33 pounds of Marijuana in the male’s luggage.
Devyn BARCLAY, 25 years of age from Muskoka Township was charged with Traffick Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marijuana Over 3 Kilograms and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice Parry Sound.
