SUDBURY–Ontario is supporting an innovative health facility in Sudbury that will carry on research for cancer, infectious diseases and vaccines, while creating 18 jobs.
With support from the province’s Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC), the Advanced Medical Research Institute of Canada (AMRIC) and Health Sciences North are renovating a former school on Walford Road to open the new health research facility. Scientists will work to ensure this important health research supports patient care in the area.
