Re ‘Dog’ feces on Providence Bay Beach, June 21, 2017.
The verbal diarrhea of defamation
About sand lousy with defecation,
On our beloved beach,
Does need a bit of clarification
As it well may have a long reach.
There is indeed some fowl pollution
And foul it may well seem,
To people who are so full of it
That they can’t tell ‘goosings’ from dog sh*t
And will next try to get rid of ‘it’
By going after geese.
Before the folks cleaned up the beach
The goose crap, it was out of reach,
Mostly hidden in the greenery,
For now, plucked out by heavy machinery,
Which for the better changed the scenery.
The answer to the goose pollution
Would be a simple ‘dog solution’.
To have a canine foot patrol
Would make the geese fly, one and all,
And we who’ve always done our bit,
To keep it clean and clear of sh*t,
Will carry our little doggie bag
And that should be the end of that.
