ISLAND RINKS BATTLE IT OUT—Hometown heroes, the Chandler Rink out of the Little Current Curling Club and the Assad Rink out of Copper Cliff (with two members of the Gordon family on the roster) met on the ice for a sudden death duel to see who would go on in the tournament in the Saturday morning flight.
