Norita was married for 56 years to the late Doug (“Eddie”) Prestage. Norita taught for 30 years at Falconbridge Public School, and since retirement has divided her time between Sudbury and a summer home in Kagawong. Norita loved to cook, and loved to entertain but above all else loved her role as a Gramma. Norita is survived by her son J.A., her daughter-in-law Lisa Goodmurphy and her beloved granddaughters Katie and Emma. She will be missed by her sister Nickie (Art) Hinds, her special cousin Betty-Lou Purvis, and an extended group of friends and family. A celebration of life took place at Lyons Memorial United Church in Gore Bay, Ontario on Saturday April 4, 2015 at 11 am. Interment at Gordon Cemetery. Memorial donations to Lyons Memorial United Church or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay. www.culginfuneralhome.ca.
