And then he discovers that the crime lord is getting closer to finding him…
‘Blue’ – Ginny Carter was once a rising star in TV news, married to a top anchorman, with a three-year-old son and a full and happy life in Beverly Hills—until her whole world dissolved in a single instant on the freeway two days before Christmas. A story of dark secrets revealed, second chances, and the power of love and courage to overcome life’s greatest challenges.
‘Try Not to Breathe’ – Alex Dale is lost. Destructive habits have cost her a marriage and a journalism career. All she has left is her routine: a morning run until her body aches, then a few hours of forgettable work before the past grabs hold and drags her down. Alex’s world begins to change when she discovers Amy Stevenson, a woman who was found unconscious after a merciless assault. She has been in a coma for 15 years, forgotten by the world. Amy, who unbeknownst to her doctors, remains locked inside her body, conscious but paralyzed…reliving the past. Soon Alex’s routine includes visiting hours at the hospital with Amy and then interviews with the original suspects in the attack. But what starts as a reporter’s story becomes a personal obsession. A good read.
‘She’s Not There’ – Caroline receives a phone call from someone who says “I think my real name is Samantha, I think I’m your daughter” and Caroline’s heart nearly stops. After a lovely night out with her husband they return back to their hotel suite to find their two-year-old Samantha has vanished without a trace.
‘The Photographer’s Wife’ – In 1920s Jerusalem, 11-year-old Prudence watches her architect father launch an ambitious and crazy plan to redesign the Holy City by importing English parts to the desert. He employs a British pilot to take aerial photographs of the city and soon Prue becomes uncomfortably aware of the attraction flaring between this pilot and a young English wife of a famous Jerusalem photographer.
