Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you enjoy the holidays. We have lots of new books for you to read from both libraries, Mindemoya and Providence Bay.

At the Mindemoya library we will be closed Thursday, December 24, Friday, December 25 and Saturday, December 26 and will reopen December 29 and 30, closing again Thursday, December 31 and January 1 and 2.

At the Providence Bay library we will be closed December 25 and reopen Tuesday, January 5.

Our workshops are continuing to the end of March at the Mindemoya library. Please come in and sign up for all the interesting workshops starting January 7.

We have such workshops as calligraphy, house plants, scarfmaking, scrapbooking, cardmaking and many more. Watch for our calendars and flyers posted all over and our ad in The Expositor.

A special Merry Christmas to all our patrons. If it wasn’t for you all we wouldn’t have our two libraries, and please if you have any suggestions to help continue to keep your libraries running successfully let me know. I welcome all suggestions and criticisms. I want to know if you are not happy.

We have lots of plans for Providence Bay library in 2016. The Providence Bay library is getting a whole new look—clean and inviting. We are doing all we can to make it a place you want to visit with new books, new computers, a colour photocopier, colour printers and a fax machine.

Now it is up to you; we need you coming to the Providence Bay library to have it continue as it has for so many years. We have new signage outside showing the hours which are Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:30 pm; Wednesdays, 1 to 3:30 pm and Fridays, 1 to 4:30 pm.

Mindemoya library will also be offering new programs and other workshops to continue to keep it a driving force in the community. So 2016 will be exciting for both of your libraries.
