Muriel Jean “Pat” Mitchell, a resident of Manitowaning, died peacefully at the Mindemoya Hospital on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the age of 87. Survived by husband Cliff and daughter Judy. Grandma of Janis Foster (husband Ed) and great-grandma of Cole and Joshua. Sister of Elva, Madeline, Fran, Jewel, Jerry, Gordon, Lorne, Arden and Tommy. Predeceased by brother Ken. Sister-in-law of Shirley Stables. Pat was active in the community, she was a member of the Eastern Star, the Curling Club and Knox United Church, helping with all of their efforts. She always had baking in the kitchen ready to be delivered. She worked for many years at Mastin’s General Store. At the family’s request there will be no services.
