SUDBURY–The Greater Sudbury Police Service wants to advise the public that MR 80 north of Tracks & Wheels (Highway 69 North) is closed to all vehicles due to motor vehicle collision. Drivers must access alternate routes until further notice.
One person is deceased and two persons are being treated for non-life threatening injuries as a result of this incident. Two vehicles are involved in the collision and the investigation is continuing. The roadway remains closed until further notice.
Members of the Traffic Management Unit are currently at the scene of the collision and continue to investigate. The roadway is expected to remain closed until 12:00 p.m.
A follow-up release will be issued to provide further details and to advise when the roadway will be open to traffic.
