M’CHIGEENG–A 33-year-old male of M’Chigeeng First Nation has been charged with forcible confinement, robbery with theft, sexual assault, sexual interference, two counts of assault and supplying liquor to a minor.
The offences took place on the M’Chigeeng First Nation in the early hours on July 31.
The UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service executed a search warrant at the residence of the accused where he was taken in to custody and was held for a bail hearing on August 2 at Gore Bay Bail Court. The accused has been remanded into custody until the August 25.
