In loving memory of Mary Love, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge and formerly of Mindemoya, who passed away at the Mindemoya Hospital on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the age of 92 years. She was born at Swift Current, Sask., daughter of the late Frank and Ina (Turnbull) Little. Mary will be remembered as a great cook, picking apples and baking as many as 20 pies in a day. She enjoyed quilting and gardening, both being necessities with a large family. Mary was the beloved wife of Ross Love, who predeceased in 1989. Loved mother of Wilma Metcalfe (predeceased), Charlie, Jack (predeceased) Carol, Marilyn (Gordon) Clarke, Mike (predeceased) Marie, Hal (Janice), Ed (Linda predeceased), Tony (Kathy) both predeceased and Mark (Lynn). She will be sadly missed by her 21 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Survived by brother Hugh Little, sister Shirley Ann Montgomery, sisters-in-law Marguerite Little, Lorna Little and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Frieda Little, Pearl (Herb) Easton and brothers Allen and Garnet Little. Friends may call at the Mindemoya United Church on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 7 pm to 9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate Mary’s life will be conducted on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11 am with Rev. Hugh MacDonald officiating. Interment at the Mindemoya Cemetery.
