In loving memory of Marion Tipper, a resident of Mindemoya, who died at the Manitoulin Centennial Manor on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the age of 85 years. She was born at Birch Lake, daughter of the late Jacob and Bertha (Morgan) Brouse. Marion was very active in her community. She was involved in the CNIB, Meals on Wheels, fundraising committee at Hope Farm, and St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was a member of the ACW of the church and was very proud of the JA group she was a huge part of, as well as teaching Sunday School. She had worked as a storekeeper, schoolteacher and office worker for KVP. Marion will be remembered as “Tip’s Right Hand,” having been a huge part of the Veterinary business for many years. Her community, church and most importantly, her family were Marion’s great love. She will be sadly missed. Marion is survived by her beloved husband Kenneth. Loved and loving mother of Kenneth (Sandy) of Hamilton and Sean and Katherine of Mindemoya. Cherished grandmother of Dayne and Alexa. Dear sister of Leslie (predeceased) and Pat Brouse of North Bay, Marvin and Isabel Brouse of Lively, Easedale (Mick) and Isabel Brouse of Massey, Terry (predeceased) and Jean Brouse of Kitchener, Sheldon (predeceased) and Dodie Brouse of Sudbury, Faye Brouse McHollister (predeceased) and Stephen (predeceased) and in-laws Howard and Esther Tipper (predeceased) and Doug and Orma Tipper (predeceased). The funeral service to celebrate Marion’s life was conducted at St. Francis of Assisi Anglican Church, Mindemoya, on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Canon Bain Peever officiating. There was no visitation. Cremation has taken place. If so desired, donations to St. Francis of Assisi Church, the Special Olympics or Alexa’s Well Project in Africa would be appreciated.
