Marilyn Jean Townsend

May 17, 1953 – September 1, 2012

In loving memory of Marilyn Townsend, a resident of Rockville Road, Mindemoya, who died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the age of 59 years. Marilyn was born in Gore Bay, daughter of the late Maurice Russell and Jean Isabella Campbell. She had worked as a Personal Support Worker for a number of years. Marilyn enjoyed fishing, playing cards and especially participating in curfling and the socializing with that event. She also enjoyed bar tending at the curling club when needed. Marilyn is survived by her beloved daughter Krystal of Sudbury. Loved companion of Bill Cox. Dear sister of Rick and Laurie Campbell of Spring Bay, Ron and Amy (Wheale) Campbell of Ice Lake and Tracy and Steve Vyse of Mindemoya. Predeceased by brother Steve Campbell. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and many relatives on Bill’s side of the family. In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes, cremation will take place.
