Margaret Iris Negonnegijig (Nee Nahwegahbow)

Surrounded by her family and friends, she was peacefully called home into the Lord’s hand on Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Manitoulin Health Centre at the age of 78. Born on May 31, 1934 daughter of the late David and Sarah Nahwegahbow. Predeceased by husband Leonard Negonnegijig. Loving mother to Debbie Shawana (Ivan), Leonard and Kathleen. Grandmother to Kristen, Vance, Jeffery, Perry, Sarina and Bo. Great-grandmother to Ferlin, Elijah, Aiden, Tyran, Ethan, Caine, Xavior, Rueben, Julie, Jade and predeceased by Trent. Dear sister to Barbara, Charles (Georgina), Joseph and Henry (Elaine). Predeceased by sisters Loretta Nahwegahbow and Dorothy Lawrence, and brother Kenneth Nahwegahbow. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Margaret enjoyed knitting, bingo, playing euchre and solitaire. Visitation was from 6 pm Tuesday, December 18, 2012 until the Funeral Service at 11 am on Friday, December 21, 2012, all at Manitoulin Gospel Fellowship Church, Aundeck Omni Kaning.
