Manitoulin Navy League hosts successful giant indoor yard sale

MINDEMOYA—There was certainly a lot of good items to choose from and to purchase at the giant indoor yard sale and coffee corner sponsored by the Manitoulin Navy League in support of the 348 Manitoulin Sea Cadets.

“This is our Manitoulin Navy League indoor yard sale and coffee corner in support of the Sea Cadets,” stated Chrisanne MacKay,  a member of the Navy League and parent of a couple of members of the Sea Cadets. She explained, “donations of items for sale were accepted from community members and Navy League members. This is one of the events we hold to raise money for the cadets.”

Members of the Sea Cadets helped set up the items for sale, and parents and cadets ran all the sales, said Ms. MacKay. “We would like to thank all the generous donators and purchasers of the many items on sale.”

The Mindemoya Missionary Church main room was stuffed full of the many items.

And along with shopping, customers could enjoy the coffee corner which provided delicious treats to eat and hot coffee to enjoy.
