SHEGUIANDAH – The Manitoulin Fine Arts Association’s Annual (MFAA) Members Show exhibition will be held at the Centennial Museum of Sheguiandah from August 10 to September 8.
The Manitoulin Art Tour celebrated its 25th anniversary this year and continues to be successful in bringing tourists to the various areas of the Island to visit participating local businesses, artists and galleries. On Saturday, August 10, the MFAA’s annual Members Show opens at the Centennial Museum of Sheguiandah.
“You are cordially invited to come and to enjoy the latest artworks created by Manitoulin Island visual artists and crafters,” a press release from the MFAA states.
Currently, the MFAA boasts over 50 members consisting of fine artists and artisans from the Manitoulin and surrounding areas. This year’s show will include paintings, photography and fine crafts. Please vote for your favourite artwork when you visit as there will be a Visitor’s Choice Award and the votes will be counted on the last day of the show by the museum staff. The AGM is open to the public and to MFAA members.
