CAPREOL–At 4:30 pm on the 11th of June 2014, Greater Sudbury Police responded to a Robbery at the Northern Credit Union located at 10 Vaughn St, Capreol. A male stated he had a bomb strapped to his body and demanded money from the employees. The male then fled the store on foot after obtaining a quantity of currency. No explosive device was seen and no one was injured in the incident. The male is described as being 6’ tall, heavy set wearing a black hoody, black scarf, baseball hat and sunglasses. The incident is still under investigation.
