SUDBURY–On Thursday April 17th at 2 pm, a 21 year old Sudbury man was in the washroom at Tim Hortons on Cedar St., Sudbury when 2 men came in after him. They began assaulting him by kicking, punching and striking him with an object repeatedly as they dug through his pockets taking his money. The victim also had his hand bitten by one of the suspects.
The victim fought back and was able to retrieve his money. He received lacerations to his head and was transported to Health Sciences North where he was treated and released.
Both suspects fled the area and were not located.
One suspect was described as an approximately 18 year old male native wearing a gray hoody with blood on the back. The other suspect was described as a young male native wearing a dark jacket with navy blue sleeves.
One of the suspects may have received an injury to his neck during the struggle.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in apprehending these suspects.
