SHARE/Go Green’s “Give Change to Make Change” campaign had a great outcome. The staff and students of MSS donated $442.90 to help build a school in Haiti – the winning class was Ms. Desbien’s senior French class. The Fill A Backpack campaign led by Students’ Council gathered school supplies for the refugee students who will be attending MSS has also been progressing well. So far, enough school supplies for two students have been collected.

SHARE/Go Green held a Christmas Pageant and Bake Sale on Tuesday, December 15 at MSS. The group put on a miniature show called Rollin’ in Dough for the audience. The show also included Christmas Carols, sing-a-longs, live music, and a bake sale afterwards. Rebeca Dawson, a SHARE/Go Green executive, said “The pageant went excellently. We had about 50 people and an array of performers from MSS. We put on the play Rollin’ in Dough and Mistletoe, and it was a lot of fun.” SHARE is getting closer to their goal of paying for a school to be built in Haiti. Generosity characterized the good holiday spirit at MSS.

With the Christmas break started hopefully there will be more snow soon, so people can go out on their snowmachines, sliding and make snow people. Have a Happy New Year! ‘Til next time, stay golden, Mustangs.
