LORNE HERBERT KING
Lorne Herbert King passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Ottawa General Hospital. Lorne was born in Mindemoya, Manitoulin Island on Monday, February 15, 1926. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Marion of 63 years. Cherished father of Gordon (Cheryl), Marianne (Bob) and Marilyn (Steve). Proud grandfather to Tracy (Matt), Sarah (Greg), Andy (Erin), Lisa (Kyle) and Katherine and great-grandchildren Audrey and Zachary. A Memorial Service will be held at Hawthorne United Church (2244 Russell Rd, Ottawa) on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hawthorne United Church or Shriners Hospital for Children- Canada (1003 Boulevard Décarie, Montréal, QC H4A 0A9) would be appreciated.
