Long-standing Mindemoya business changes ownership

MINDEMOYA—While the business ownership has changed, a familiar face will be at the helm of Edward (Ted) Wright Well Drilling.

Darren Carter, along with his wife Lisa, have purchased the Mindemoya business from Mr. Wright. “I worked for Ted for 17 years,” said Mr. Carter, noting that Mr. Wright has owned the business for 46 years.

“Ted is going into semi-retirement, having bought another (well drilling) machine in Wiarton to start a business there,” said Mr. Carter. “I will now own and run the business here with my son Ty and we will continue basically keeping the business running the same as it has. About the only thing we will be changing is the email address.”
